OK, CAS Switcher was accepted by modthesims2.com and I've updated the list to the right with the page link. If you have never visited MTS2, it is THE place for just about anything you could want for The Sims 2: clothing, hair, objects, mods, all kinds of tutorials and much more. Be sure to check out some of the excellent CAS (Create-A-Sim) backgrounds that are available, too. Or just search their downloads for "CAS". CAS Switcher won't do anything without some nice backdrops to switch.

Thought I'd post some graphics snippets from AEA, all jumbled so as not to spoil anything. Click on the image above to see it full size. I'm just starting to render the graphics for a major section of the game and that will take quite a bit of time, mainly because the software I'm using is so ancient and slow. But the results are worth the extra hassle.

Mini-tool program for The Sims 2 is now finished: CAS_switcher. This automates (with optional screenshots) switching CAS! screen package files for the Create-A-Sim section of the game. Not sure if I can upload this to ModTheSims2.com or not, but I will have a download link to it soon.

These projects are all on hold until I can find some time to test the most recent changes to each. I also have to reinstall all three games on my Win98 machine after recently swapping out hard drives, so this will take some time.
Hi and welcome to my new blog! I thought I'd start a public blog now that several of my projects are nearing completion. In addition to the mods/utils for various games, the rewrite and re-imaging of AEA (working codename) is in full swing.
